Accreditations

LIST OF THE ACCREDITATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS WE HAVE IN THE INDUSTRY:

 SQF CERTIFIED AT LEVEL 2 FOR ALL DISTRIBUTION CENTERS.

We are amongst the few Meat and Seafood Importers/Distributors in the U.S to be SQF Certified at Level 2 in all Distribution Centers, as recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)

 AQUACULTURE CERTIFICATION COUNCIL (ACC) CERTIFIED BUYER

Best Aquaculture Practices certificate.

 SHRIMP SUPPLIERS

All of our suppliers are BAP Certified. 7 plants hold 2-star certifications.

 SEAFOOD SUPPLIERS FROM VIETNAM

5 plants are BAP certified for Pangasius. MSC fisheries for clams, certified for the Bên Tre Province Fishery.

 TILAPIA SUPPLIERS

All of our Tilapia suppliers are BAP certified. 18 of our suppliers are certified for Processing (1 Star), and 12 are certified for Processing and Farming (2 stars).

 GFSI STANDARDS

All of our seafood suppliers maintain records of third party audits for Food Safety based on GFSI Standards.

QUALITY AND SUSTAINABLY CONSCIOUS SOURCING ARE THE CORNERSTONES OF PANAMEI SEAFOOD.

PROCUREMENT:

We also acknowledge the growing need for a diversified procurement program, which screens products for sustainability. This is the reason why we have established a purchasing policy geared towards sourcing seafood from responsible fisheries and aquaculture operations. We purchase our products from fisheries and farms managed by competent national authorities that employ science-based management approaches.
